Guest Post by Sam Lichtman More than a thousand firearm owners and Second Amendment activists converged on the West Lawn of the United States Capitol on November 2nd in support of their constitutionally guaranteed right to keep and bear arms. The Capitol dome served as a dramatic backdrop for the roster of more than two […]
San Diego County Gun Owners PAC was represented for the first time at 2nd Amendment Foundation's Gun Rights Policy Conference 2019 in Phoenix (#GRPC2019) A record crowd turned up to hear 91 of the top 2A fighters on, well, earth, speak.
SDCGO was a part of the story below so check out the video. In less than 2 years Mara Elliot (San Diego City Attorney) has aggressively issued 100 Gun Violence Restraining Orders (GVRO). These are also referred to as "red flag laws". In California the way it works is if someone has some reason to be concerned about a gun owner, they can get the guns taken away from the gun owner until the gun owner can prove they are not a danger to anyone.
Most knowledgeable people (e.g. people who pay attention) understand that gun control laws don’t increase public safety or reduce crime. That’s not the intent of people that create them. Gun control is used primarily for political power and control. The end game is to completely disarm the American people. You can fill in for what […]
Since rediscovering firearms a few years ago, I’m continually amazed at how much fun I’m having with each new thing I try out. While this is obviously an important aspect of the problem there are other things being stolen from California gun owners. Consider our ability to have FUN. There’s a short video I’d like […]
The antics of San Antonio College geography instructor Charles K. Smith are amusing and likely to inspire chuckles and an unbelieving shake of the head from most gun owners. Mr. Smith has chosen to teach his class wearing a camouflaged bullet resistant vest and helmet to protest the newly implemented Campus Carry law. While this […]
Lets face it, being a shooting enthusiast is not easy on the wallet. Setting aside the cost of guns alone, there is ammo, targets, range fees, eye/ear protection, cleaning equipment, optics, professional training, etc. If you are an avid shooter none of this should be surprising. Plus if you’re like me, you live in a […]
