Another Victory!

We told you about our dealings with the San Diego County Board of Supervisors and how Supervisor Dianne Jacob tried to get shooting banned on public land in San Diego. The problem? Well, those are federal land manged by the BLM and Department of the Interior.

So SDCGO went straight to the top and spoke with the Secretary of the Interior. He and his staff hadn’t heard of this and worked with us to make sure the County understood that this ban wasn’t going to happen. Period.

In this letter to Congressman Duncan Hunter they describe Dianne’s proposal as “unconstitutional” and we agree. Celebrate by going shooting at Donohoe Flats and Pink gate! Woo hoo!
