San Diego County Gun Owners (SDCGO), a political action committee promoting Second Amendment rights, has announced that 190 women have completed its #NotMeSD mentoring program and another 100 women are current participating in a one-on-one mentoring program that is helping women begin the journey to protecting themselves with a firearm. SDCGO said that sign-ups are now underway for new program enrollees in 2021. The public is invited to participate.

When someone says “gun owner,” or the more stereotypical term “gun nut,” what image comes to mind? For most people, it conjures up the image of a white male, stereotypical “redneck.” But in this day and age, when it comes to California gun owners…nothing could be further from this stereotype. Gun owners come from all walks of life. We are a diverse group of people from all sorts of backgrounds. However, why does the stereotype exist?

One of the latest talking points of the left is the threat of American veterans becoming domestic terrorists. This story from a left-leaning outlet (NPR) provides the basis for this latest attempt to use the disturbance at the U.S. Capitol to demonize all who disagree with the progressive agenda.

You spend a few hours at your local gun shop (admit it, you do that anyway!) and talk to people about how important it is to fight for your gun rights, and how SDCGO is accomplishing that.
