ACTION NEEDED: County to Vote to Sue Gun Manufacturers
Earlier this year, the County Board of Supervisors voted to make it impossible to home manufacture firearms by requiring a serial number of raw materials, for those who live in the unincorporated areas of San Diego County.
San Diego County Gun Owners is fighting back with a lawsuit against the original regulation pass in the City of San Diego: Fahr v. San Diego
The County is looking to attack our Second Amendment rights once again – this time by looking to allow litigation against gun manufacturers.
ACTION ITEM: On June 14, the County Board of Supervisors will vote on suing gun manufacturers. Let the Board know that you oppose this idea. Send a polite and professional email to these three email addresses:
Tuesday was the California primary election and SDCGO had a great night. Not all votes have been counted and things could change, but it looks like all 5 candidates endorsed by SDCGO made it through to the general election and will be on the ballot in November.
Did you vote? Did you donate?? Did you help a campaign???
Don’t worry. There will be more opportunities to help make a positive change. SDCGO will release a voter guide in a few months for the November election. We will definitely need your help! Stay tuned.
The biggest race in the county: San Diego County Sheriff. The sheriff’s race went GREAT! SDCGO endorsed candidate Undersheriff Kelly Martinez dominated. She received about as many votes as the next two candidates combined! SDCGO was a big part of her first place finish and we could not be happier. Myers, endorsed by local anti-gun groups came in third, and Republican Hemmerling came in second. November will be a runoff between SDCGO endorsed Kelly Martinez and gun-grabber John Hemmerling.
