Did you know that SDCGO only endorses candidates on the local level? For example, city council, mayor, county board, sheriff, and school board. We cannot endorse candidates on the state or federal level. We concentrate on the local boards and councils right here in your back yard. We want to fill the bench with good candidates for higher office and we do not want to duplicate what great state and federal orgs are already doing.

This blog is the first in a series of articles intended to provide a starting point for those new to concealed carry. There is much to learn and great satisfaction to be had but figuring out where to begin can be daunting for newcomers. The intent of the series is to provide useful information for those beginning the transition to the concealed carry lifestyle.
