Getting Back to Normal….
Recap of Important Info
CCW Seminar on Facebook Live!
If you haven’t been able to make it to a CCW seminar but would like some extra help with your CCW application, now you can tune in from the comfort of your own home!
At the time of the event, there are two ways to attend:
Earlier this week, we released our two-minute video “Open Letter to Nathan Fletcher” along with our press release titled: “San Diego Gun Owners PAC releases 2-minute video critical of County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher; PAC officials say Sup. Fletcher too wrong, too often.”
The video has gotten over 3,000 views in just a few days, and was even shared directly on KUSI!
Remember Freedom Week? We were able to purchase standard capacity magazines for a week? Well we just experienced Freedom 8 hours or so. It’s legal, it’s confusing and it’s frustrating.
Americans need to ask a question: In what kind of country do we wish to live? There are actually many questions that Americans need to ask when the COVID-19 hysteria finally winds down and people can think clearly again, but they are mostly all captured in the opening question.

In Part 3 we’ll address clearing three common malfunctions. Typically called Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3, clearing these malfunctions can be readily practiced in a dry fire environment.
As with all things firearms, safety is the primary concern.
On Monday, May 4th, we will resume normal activities (for the most part).
This message is to announce that SDCGO, OCGO, RCGO, and SBCGO will take a huge step forward towards normal activities. Starting at the end of March, we have all had our lives changed and in many cases severely uprooted. Our staff and volunteers have had to make adjustments in our personal lives and our work for fighting to restore and protect the Second Amendment has turned into a 24/7 hurry-up-and-wait. All events have been cancelled. Many activities have been put on hold. We have had to take a defensive posture when we are normally marching forward.
I am proud of what we have done over the last weeks and the way we have responded as organizations. We made a positive difference.
What this means:
We will get back to as close as a normal schedule as the law will allow. Gun rights are a 24/7 fight and inconsistent hours comes with the territory, but it is even more so when we don’t know what to expect. Our staff and volunteers are going back to normally scheduled meetings and conference calls. We are working towards setting up a calendar of activities, meetings, and seminars. Projects that had to be put on the back-burners will be moved back to the front-and-center for completion (membership card app, questions for Sheriff Bianco, resources for new gun owners, Board expansions, etc). There is an election in November and we need to get back to focusing on the best candidates who deserve our support.
Below is the schedule for all 4 PACs for May. We don’t anticipate that California’s COVID-19 regulations to change enough in May for us to have in-person meetings. We are penciling in regularly scheduled, normal, in-person meetings for June, but we will confirm that by June 1st.
We hope that you can still join us on August 15! However, if you are unable to make it or need a refund for any reason, we will give you one with no questions asked. And good news! We’ll be extending early bird pricing accordingly!!!
