In Honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month |
|
NotMeSD is SDCGO’s initiative to stop sexual assault and end domestic violence. We have experienced female gun owners who provide a comfortable, one-on-one environment for mentorship in three areas: finding the right kind of training, selecting and purchasing a firearm, and obtaining a CCW permit.
Last night, we were honored to be joined by SDCGO Endorsed Candidate, San Diego District Attorney Summer Stephan at an event in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. |

Invictus Krav Maga is excited to welcome Tamir Gilad, Lead Instructor and Head of Testing for the International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF). Mr. Gilad will conduct an “Active Shooter” seminar at the Chabad of Poway Synagogue. All interested parties are welcome… no previous Krav Maga experience is required. An active shooter is an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a confined and populated area. In most cases, active shooters use firearms and there is no pattern or method to their selection of victims. Active shooter situations are unpredictable and evolve quickly. This course will focus on how to be prepared and gain the skills needed to prevent, recognize and increase your ability to survive during an active shooter incident.
This reality-based training will address real-life attacks and scenarios taken from actual events occurring in communities here in the United States and in Israel. |

SDCGO is proud to endorse Undersheriff Kelly Martinez for San Diego County Sheriff!
Martinez has helped improve the CCW process to decrease wait times, decrease processing time, and decrease red tape so that San Diegans can continue to obtain carry permits. She has been very responsive to the needs and requests of SDCGO and has proven to be an outstanding partner. After reviewing her SDCGO questionnaire and history, the SDCGO Board was proud to vote to endorse Undersheriff Kelly Martinez to be our next sheriff!
We are also happy to say that Supervisor Joel Anderson has also endorsed this outstanding candidate. |
