It’s Almost Time for GUN PROM!
We are neck deep in preparations for Gun Prom, and we could not be more excited to be celebrating the Second Amendment this Saturday with nearly 1,000 Second Amendment supporters!! It’s our favorite event of the year and the best and biggest Second Amendment event all around.

Our Monthly Meetings are almost here! Come find out the latest Second Amendment news in the County, and learn how to get more involved. We have three identical meetings in different locations throughout San Diego County, so come to one or all!
This event is open to the public; you do not need to be a member to attend, so bring a friend!
I just spoke with the Sheriff’s CCW department (licensing) and we have some good news.
They have added appointment times to Monday’s schedule. This will improve wait times to get your CCW significantly.
AND… they are testing renewals and issuance by mail to see if this process works. They were able to find a way to capture the renewal’s thumbprint, so it looks like they are able to process more renewals.
All good news. SDCGO is continuing our work to make sure every sane, trained, law-abiding San Diego who wants to, can get a CCW.

Time and money are the keys to winning an election. Help us get literature to La Mesa voters about Laura by contributing 2 hours to the cause. SDCGO will give you everything you need to help us get the word out about Laura Lothian for La Mesa City Council.
You will be given 50 flyers and 50 addresses for La Mesa voters. All you have to do is deliver the information to the addresses provided. Wear comfortable shoes and plain clothes without any logos or slogans. Delivering information to 50 houses should take about 2 hours. This is how elections are won!

Plaintiffs on New Lawsuit Challenging Ban on Home-Building Firearms and Precursor Parts
Mere hours after San Diego, California Mayor Todd Gloria signed Ordinance no. O-2022-7 into law last week, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) last night filed a new Second Amendment lawsuit challenging the new ban that prohibits individuals in the City from home-building firearms, including the possession of parts and materials necessary to self-manufacture constitutionally protected arms. The confiscatory terms of the Ordinance additionally require that all persons who have any of the banned items dispossess themselves of the items within 30 days. FPC Law also filed a motion for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction today to block enforcement of the law. The complaint and application for temporary restraining order in Fahr v. San Diego can be found at FPCLegal.org.
San Diego County Gun Owners PAC is a Plaintiff in this lawsuit, so this means that YOU are part of this lawsuit too! Thank you to FPC for making this happen!

Not only is volunteering a great way to give back to San Diego County Gun Owners and the Second Amendment community in general, it’s super easy and fun. You spend a few hours at your local gun shop (admit it, you do that anyway!) and talk to people about how important it is to fight for your gun rights, and how SDCGO is accomplishing that.
Plus… we have an exciting new incentive program starting in 2021! Every shift for which you volunteer and work will earn you an entry into our quarterly drawing for A GUN!

If you’re a new shooter who is interested in an informal shooting experience, our Shooting Socials are a great way to dip your toe in the water!
