Ever since we helped make CCWs possible in San Diego County, SDCGO has continued to work closely with the Sheriff’s Department to provide the feedback they needed to ensure that the application process is smooth, efficient, and most of all, obtainable.
The biggest request we hear is… “How come I can only put 3 guns on my permit?” We’re here today to tell you…. ask no more! SDCGO went to bat for you and made it happen.
You can now put unlimited guns on your CCW permit!
We got the green light about 3 months ago, but as you can imagine, the Sheriff’s Department has been overwhelmed with new applications. They asked us to wait to make this announcement because they have been working around the clock to lessen the waiting time. If you would like to update your CCW immediately, please note that there is a wait, but that the clerks and investigators are working as hard as they can.
Keep in mind that you must qualify with each firearm (including live fire) during your 8-hour approved CCW course.
Blog: The 2nd Amendment is on the Ballot November 3rd – How Will You Vote?
With the presidential election only weeks away, we find the Second Amendment (2A) prominently on the ballot. The positions of each candidate regarding the Constitution in general, and the 2A in particular, are starkly disparate. The results of this election could change the direction of the country even more profoundly than the 2016 election did. With so much at stake, how will a largely misinformed electorate vote?
