BREAKING: Santee City Council Calls for Nathan Fletcher to Apologize and Resign
Last night, led by SDCGO Board Member and Santee City Council Member Rob McNelis, the city of Santee voted to officially ask Supervisor Nathan Fletcher to resign. Santee’s letter to Fletcher was in response to him calling all those who participated in signing the Governor Newsom recall petition “Neo-Nazis” and “white supremacists.” The letter states, “Hate has no place in Santee. Hateful rhetoric has no room in political discourse and is particularly bad when it comes from the Chairman of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.”
Santee’s letter is the latest in a growing movement of elected officials and groups calling for Fletcher to leave office. SDCGO was one of the first to issue a statement on Fletcher a month ago. SDCGO will not stand by when elected bullies say disparaging, hateful things about our members for participating in a Constitutionally protected activity and making their voices heard.
San Diego County Gun Owners (SDCGO), a political action committee promoting Second Amendment rights, has announced that 190 women have completed its #NotMeSD mentoring program and another 100 women are current participating in a one-on-one mentoring program that is helping women begin the journey to protecting themselves with a firearm. SDCGO said that sign-ups are now underway for new program enrollees in 2021. The public is invited to participate.

Meet H.R. 127, also known as the Sabika Sheikh Firearm Licensing and Registration Act. This grotesque piece of anti-Second Amendment (2A) legislation was introduced in the House in January by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX). This bill effectively destroys our 2A protected rights, but the real purpose of H.R. 127 is to lay the foundation for that holy grail of the Democratic Party: gun confiscation. All Americans should take notice.
Not only is volunteering a great way to give back to San Diego County Gun Owners and the Second Amendment community in general, it’s super easy and fun. You spend a few hours at your local gun shop (admit it, you do that anyway!) and talk to people about how important it is to fight for your gun rights, and how SDCGO is accomplishing that.
Plus… we have an exciting new incentive program starting in 2021! Every shift for which you volunteer and work will earn you an entry into our quarterly drawing for A GUN!
