More BLM Shooting Stuff From The County!

(We Need You To Show)

To be clear…SDCGO has been working with the Department of the Interior (that oversees the Bureau of Land Management or BLM) and they have made it clear that shooting will
NOT
be banned on BLM managed land.

On Tuesday the County Board of Supervisors will vote to pass a regulation banning shooting in the only areas left on the 1 million acres of BLM land. It is important to note that it is up to the BLM whether or not to follow this regulation. If the BLM decides to follow the regulation, there really is no lawsuit that will fix it.

That is why SDCGO has been concentrating from the beginning on going to the actual decision makers: the U.S. Department of the Interior headed by Secretary Ryan Zinke. Our efforts appear to be fruitful.

South Bay Rod & Gun Club has been doing a FANTASTIC job of working with the County Board to hopefully change some votes! What a great group and club! They have been front and center the entire time during this process and deserve a huge “thanks”!

What do we need now?

The Board will vote November 13th and we need YOU to attend and/or write to the Board to oppose the final passage of the ordinance.
