The gun show has contracts at the fairgrounds through 2020, said Michael Schwartz, executive director of San Diego County Gun Owners. The show is set to return in March, according to Crossroads’ website.
The group, a political advocacy organization that supports the show, held a small rally of about a dozen people outside the event’s entrance Saturday morning. About two-dozen people with the gun control advocacy group NeverAgainCA demonstrated at the corner of Jimmy Durante Boulevard and Via De La Valle.
