News About Gun Prom
If you already bought a ticket or table to our Second Amendment Celebration Dinner, the great news is that your seat or table is secured for the new date for our dinner which is Saturday, October 16, 2021.
We are extremely confident that the restrictions will be lifted well before October so that we can have our dinner as planned. It will be inside at the Town & Country in Mission Valley.
If you bought tickets or are sponsoring a table, please keep an eye out for an email from [email protected] this week regarding “Express Check-in” where you will have the ability to update your guest names and contact information. In the meantime, please direct all your attendees to our website to see the pertinent details about the dinner and make them aware of the new date.
We still have room for more tables, so we are continuing to add more. If you or someone you know of anyone who would like to sponsor a table, please check out all the options at www.GunProm.com and know that the “early bird” specials will remain in place until ticket sales end on October 1.

Blog: Discovering the Winchester Model 1300
Until now I’d never owned a tactical shotgun. My shotgun experience was limited to my Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight with the rhubarb bead. My parents bought me the gun when I was in my early teens. I used it to hunt rabbits, birds and other small game with my friends and some of my cousins when I was growing up. When I left home for the Navy, the Ithaca went into storage to finally emerge about six years ago. Nowadays I use it about once a month for sporting clays.
Not only is volunteering a great way to give back to San Diego County Gun Owners and the Second Amendment community in general, it’s super easy and fun. You spend a few hours at your local gun shop (admit it, you do that anyway!) and talk to people about how important it is to fight for your gun rights, and how SDCGO is accomplishing that.
Plus… we have an exciting new incentive program starting in 2021! Every shift for which you volunteer and work will earn you an entry into our quarterly drawing for A GUN!
