A Win Here Will Send a HUGE Message
Friend, I just got a report from the county elections office of ballots returned so far in the La Mesa Special Election and I’m very, very worried that we might lose a seat that we absolutely can and MUST win! To ensure a win for the 2nd Amendment supporting candidate we’ve endorsed, I NEED YOUR HELP THIS SATURDAY!
As you may know, the outcome of this one single city council seat in this Special Election in La Mesa will determine whether we have a pro-2A majority in that city or not. That’s why San Diego County Gun Owners has proudly endorsed freedom-fighter LAURA LOTHIAN for this key race.
Here’s what I need you to do! With only a few days left in this election, we have one FINAL volunteer deployment this Saturday October 30 at 9am with Carl DeMaio and fellow 2nd Amendment supporters for a Drive and Knock Volunteer Day to support Laura Lothian! (That’s right – no walking needed! You can simply drive and/or be the one to jump out and knock on the door!)
If we do our part, Laura will probably only win this race by a few hundred votes. San Diego County Gun Owners needs to deliver the margin of victory so we can send a message to politicians that infringing on our freedoms carries a big consequence! Piss us off and we’ll mobilize in the next political race and put a 2A-supporting leader into office!
Sincerely,
Michael A. Schwartz
Executive Director, San Diego County Gun Owners
WARNING! 80% Kits Now Illegal in City of San Diego
Be advised. If you live in the city of San Diego, the deadline to get rid of your 80% kits has passed. San Diego County Gun Owners and Firearms Policy Coalition are suing the city on your behalf, but their law banning 80% kits went into effect on October 23. You must store your unfinished, raw material kit outside of the city limits.
NOTE: The County of San Diego is drafting a similar regulation, but nothing is in effect yet. We will keep you informed as we fight.
Earlier this month, we had 999 fabulously dressed attendees at our annual Second Amendment Celebration Dinner!
Guns were won, awards were given, friends were made, and a community came together.
Take a look at some of the photos HERE! Keep checking back because we’re still adding more!
Breaking Gun News in San Diego!
Last Saturday night at the SDCGO Second Amendment Celebration Dinner (aka Gun Prom), Gunfighter Tactical unveiled their new 9mm AR pattern carbine!
They are now producing their first in-house designed, cut, cerakoted and built 9mm AR pistol. The “Bandit” has passed all of Gunfighter Tactical’s tests and they are excited to get these out into the wild.
They will be selling the 9mm Bandits with the custom mindset. You’ll start with a 5″ or 8″ model, then pick your color and they’ll custom build for you! Or you just choose one off the wall.
SDCGO is proud that Gunfighter picked to donate their first model as a prize for 2021 Gun Prom! And Joe Cresto is the proud winner!
Thank you Gunfighter Tactical, recipient of San Diego County Gun Owner’s 2020 and 2021 Gun Shop of the Year Award.
Together, We Will Win.
Blog: The Nanny State and Constitutional Carry
Constitutional Carry, the ability to carry concealed without obtaining the states permission, is sweeping the country. At present there are 21 Constitutional Carry states. Legislatures in several other states are currently considering the idea.
Last week I wrote an article on Constitutional Carry and we were discussing the article on the radio show. I mentioned that I supported Constitutional Carry but had one slight reservation. When asked about my reservation I stated that I was concerned that without any permit or training requirement some people may not understand the laws and inadvertently get themselves in trouble.
