We’re not far from being able to tell you more about our MASSIVE deployment plan, but we still need to ensure our funding’s in place to be able to execute it.
If we get every San Diego County 2A voter one of these guides, they’ll have the knowledge they need to be able to grow our Second Amendment freedoms both at the county AND state level!
That’s why this is so critical, so anything you can do helps.

One Monthly Meeting Left!
We’ve already had two great monthly meetings this month – one at Discount Gun Mart and another at North County Shooting Center featuring guest speakers Dr. Melanie Burkholder, candidate for Carlsbad City Council, and Garrison Ham, San Diego Libertarian Party Chair.
It’s not too late to attend our third and final monthly meeting for August. Light refreshments will be served at 6pm, and meeting starts at 6:30pm.

San Diego County Gun Owners was honored to be featured in an extensive spread in RECOIL Magazine recently!
Our highly successful NotMeSD program is looking for more ambassadors! As an ambassador, you would help mentor new female gun owners in three areas: (1) finding the right kind of training, (2) selecting and purchasing a firearm, and (3) guiding her through the CCW process.
To learn more about being an ambassador for NotMeSD, please join us on August 30 at 7:30pm for an informal Q&A session about what it takes.
Our “Gun Shop Table Top” program is one of our most effective ways to reach out to current and new members. Volunteering is fun and easy! We provide all the materials you need, and all you have to do is show up. You would be passing out literature about the organization, signing up people for our mailing list, and sharing information about membership.
We have some amazing Table Top Leads who do an amazing job setting up and making sure you have everything you need! This is an incredibly valuable way to give back to the Second Amendment community and support San Diego County Gun Owners!

Frog-X Basic/Intermediate Pistol Course
Friday, September 9
This clinic is designed for shooters with a basic through intermediate level of skill. No previous formal training required.
This course is designed for shooters with a good working knowledge of basic carbine marksmanship and gun handling skills. Take your shooting beyond the traditional flat range and to the next level. Students will be exposed to a variety of non traditional shooting techniques with an emphasis on shoot, move, and communicate.
An introduction to the fundamentals that are the foundation for precision long range shooting. This course is designed to take new or experienced shooters and set them up with the baseline fundamentals necessary to make precise, long range shots consistently. By the end of the course you will have confidence in your ability to employ your rifle at ranges from 100-1000yds.

As of July 2022, the San Diego Union Tribune reported that the current response time to a Priority One police emergency call in San Diego County is 40 minutes. That’s right, 40 minutes! This means if you are being domestically abused, if your life is threatened, if your child goes missing, or if someone commits a home invasion or home robbery, the police will arrive approximately 40 minutes later. In these examples of Priority One calls, a lot can happen in 5 minutes, let alone 40 minutes waiting for the police to arrive.
If you’re a new shooter who is interested in an informal shooting experience, our Shooting Socials are a great way to dip your toe in the water!
For just $60/person, we can give you a safe, fun, safe, and educational first-time shooting experience. You will get:
