In only 12 weeks, San Diego County residents vote on some VERY critical candidates and issues -- many which have a very critical impact on the Second Amendment.
When we launched the Voter Guide campaign earlier this year, the results were well worth it: a TON of our endorsed candidates won their races.
We're preparing our SDCGO Voter Guide once again, but we need to ensure we have the budget to be able to distribute them to every 2A-supporting voter across the county.
Now that we're approaching the General Election, we have to get our endorsed candidates across the finish line, and we've exhausted our budget for this.
We've got some pretty awesome plans put together to help, but what we really need right now is to raise around $2500 to kick this off in the next 30 days.

Following our awesome Summer Picnic last month, we are back to our regularly scheduled monthly meetings! Open to guests and members.
Come attend one of our three monthly meetings at three locations across the county. Light refreshments will be served at 6pm, and meeting starts at 6:30pm.

SDCGO Featured in RECOIL Magazine!
San Diego County Gun Owners was honored to be featured in an extensive spread in RECOIL Magazine recently!
Our "Gun Shop Table Top" program is one of our most effective ways to reach out to current and new members. Volunteering is fun and easy! We provide all the materials you need, and all you have to do is show up. You would be passing out literature about the organization, signing up people for our mailing list, and sharing information about membership.
We have some amazing Table Top Leads who do an amazing job setting up and making sure you have everything you need! This is an incredibly valuable way to give back to the Second Amendment community and support San Diego County Gun Owners!
Our highly successful NotMeSD program is looking for more ambassadors! As an ambassador, you would help mentor new female gun owners in three areas: (1) finding the right kind of training, (2) selecting and purchasing a firearm, and (3) guiding her through the CCW process.
To learn more about being an ambassador for NotMeSD, please join us on August 30 at 7:30pm for an informal Q&A session about what it takes.

Frog-X Basic/Intermediate Pistol Course
Friday, September 9
This clinic is designed for shooters with a basic through intermediate level of skill. No previous formal training required.
This course is designed for shooters with a good working knowledge of basic carbine marksmanship and gun handling skills. Take your shooting beyond the traditional flat range and to the next level. Students will be exposed to a variety of non traditional shooting techniques with an emphasis on shoot, move, and communicate.
An introduction to the fundamentals that are the foundation for precision long range shooting. This course is designed to take new or experienced shooters and set them up with the baseline fundamentals necessary to make precise, long range shots consistently. By the end of the course you will have confidence in your ability to employ your rifle at ranges from 100-1000yds.

Where’s Alec? In October 2021 in New Mexico while filming the movie Rust, Alec Baldwin shot and killed one coworker and wounded another. His action was almost certainly unintentional, but the result was the same, one person dead, one person wounded. I first wrote about the incident here.
If you're a new shooter who is interested in an informal shooting experience, our Shooting Socials are a great way to dip your toe in the water!
For just $60/person, we can give you a safe, fun, safe, and educational first-time shooting experience. You will get:
1. One-on-one mentoring with an experienced volunteer 2. Safety briefing in a classroom 3. 2 Hours of range rental 4. Gun(s) to learn with 5. 50 rounds of ammunition 6. Paper target(s) 7. Eye protection 8. Ear protection
