Stand Up to Sexual Assault with Summer Stephan
Sexual Assault Awareness Month is observed each April. San Diego County Gun Owners is proud to present Stand Up to Sexual Assault, a meet and greet event in honor of NotMeSD, featuring San Diego District Attorney Summer Stephan!
Join us on Wednesday, April 27 from 6pm-8pm at Shakespeare Pub, 3701 India St., San Diego, CA 92101.
The Sheriff’s race is important to San Diego County Gun Owners because of its local impact on the right to bear arms, since the Sheriff is responsible for the County’s policy on concealed carry weapons permits (CCWs). San Diego County Gun Owners was enormously effective at getting the former Sheriff to change his policy so that anyone can qualify and obtain a CCW following the same procedure as other counties that issue.
SDCGO is proud to endorse Undersheriff Kelly Martinez for San Diego County Sheriff!
Martinez has helped improve the CCW process to decrease wait times, decrease processing time, and decrease red tape so that San Diegans can continue to obtain carry permits. She has been very responsive to the needs and requests of SDCGO and has proven to be an outstanding partner. After reviewing her SDCGO questionnaire and history, the SDCGO Board was proud to vote to endorse Undersheriff Kelly Martinez to be our next sheriff!
We've had two great meetings this month so far, but it's not too late to still attend one! Come check out our third and final meeting this month to find out the latest news in Second Amendment politics! Our meetings are open to all, so bring an old friend and make some new friends! Meet, greet, and eat at 6:00pm. The meeting starts at 6:30pm.

NotMeSD is SDCGO's initiative to stop sexual assault and end domestic violence. We have experienced female gun owners who provide a comfortable, one-on-one environment for mentorship in three areas: finding the right kind of training, selecting and purchasing a firearm, and obtaining a CCW permit.
